Sustainment Engineer
Position Summary
TECBOMO LLC is seeking a Sustainment Engineer to maintain the security, reliability, performance, and operational readiness of deployed enterprise platforms. This role focuses on lifecycle support, including upgrades, patching, monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, configuration management, and automation.
Key Responsibilities

Plan, test, schedule, and implement platform upgrades, security patches, hotfixes, and configuration changes.

Monitor platform health, availability, capacity, logs, feeds, integrations, and scheduled processes.

Investigate incidents and service degradations, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions.

Maintain approved configuration baselines and identify or remediate configuration drift.

Develop scripts, scheduled jobs, dashboards, and workflow automation that reduce manual maintenance and reporting effort.

Produce recurring operational, security, vulnerability, compliance, maintenance, and service-level reports.

Maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, change records, rollback procedures, inventories, and lifecycle documentation.

Support vulnerability remediation, audit evidence collection, access reviews, backups, recovery testing, and continuity activities.

Coordinate with customers, vendors, help desks, security teams, infrastructure teams, and implementation personnel.

Track product releases, end-of-life dates, operational risks, maintenance windows, and recommended improvements.
Required Qualifications

Experience in platform operations, site reliability engineering, systems administration, DevSecOps, cybersecurity operations, or application support.

Hands-on experience with Linux, scripting or automation, monitoring and logging tools, patching, and change-management processes.

Experience supporting Kubernetes, containers, cloud or hybrid infrastructure, databases, identity services, or enterprise applications.

Working knowledge of incident management, configuration management, vulnerability remediation, backups, and operational reporting.

Ability to independently troubleshoot issues and communicate technical status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.

Strong documentation, organization, and customer-service skills.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with container security, software supply-chain security, vulnerability management, or Anchore Enterprise.
